Sepsis & Bloodstream
Infections
Rapid pathogen identification and resistance profiling from blood — with or without culture.
The Challenge
Blood cultures are slow. Sepsis is not.
Every hour of delayed pathogen identification in sepsis worsens outcomes. Blood culture remains the standard, but results take 24–72 hours — and culture-negative cases leave clinicians guessing. Direct detection from whole blood is technically demanding: bacteria are present at ultra-low CFU levels, and overwhelming host DNA masks microbial signal. A faster, more sensitive approach is needed at both ends of the workflow.

Faster answers — cultured or culture-free.
