Long reads demand long, intact DNA

Long-read sequencing platforms like Oxford Nanopore and PacBio deliver their best results with ultra-high molecular weight (uHMW) DNA — fragments exceeding 50 kb. Conventional extraction methods shear DNA, producing fragments too short to exploit long-read advantages. Getting truly intact, high-molecular-weight DNA from clinical or complex samples remains a major bottleneck.

Cross-linker Cartridge Technology

uHMW DNA from abGenix X is optimised for Oxford Nanopore and PacBio sequencing, enabling de novo assembly, structural variant detection, and methylation analysis.

Clinical Sequencing Downstream
